Other forms of Sponsorship and Advertising

In an effort to accommodate the requirements of the many different types of potential sponsor, there are opportunities to provide advertising or single event sponsorship to suit the pockets of all. The following is a list of what is currently available, but this may be subject to change from time to time.

Website or Newsletter Advertisements

The very successful Club website (www.chelmsfordhc.org.uk) and the regular Club Newsletter provide great sites for placing advertisements of any size, complete with a hyper-link, if required, to the advertiser’s own website.

Match Day Programmes

Up to 20 matches are played at Chelmer Park by both 1st XI’s in their respective English League or Cup competitions, plus other prestigious matches also take place from time to time. Half or full page advertisements are available for sale, the cost depending on the location within the match programme.

Fixture Card

There is a limited amount of space in the annually published Fixture Card for advertisements, and this is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Prices will vary depending on the location of the advertisement (inside front or back cover, opposite 1st XI fixture lists, etc.)

Match Ball

Sponsorship of the match ball at any one of the key matches taking place at Chelmer Park opens the opportunity of financial support to individuals and small businesses. The Match Ball Sponsor will be detailed (by name only) in the Match Programme for that day.

Changing Rooms

This more unusual type of advertising involves naming one of the six changing rooms in the new block after the Sponsor, where it will be seen not only by the top sides in the Club but also by visitors from the top clubs in the country.
