Water Base Pitch Advertising

The new water-base pitch at Chelmer Park is perfectly designed for the display of advertising hoardings. Each segment of fencing allows for a board measuring 8 feet by 3 feet, making it easily seen from the spectator area opposite and by any T.V. cameras or press photographers that come to the ground from time to time.

To simplify matters, the positions of the hoardings have been divided into four categories, each reflecting the measure of visibility at various locations around the pitch. The diagram below gives a pictorial image of these locations, but, for good order’s sake, the categories are also defined. In light of the cost of the board and the printing, a minimum period of three years sponsorship is required, with discounts on offer for longer periods.

Category A (Gold)
Around the dug out area at the half-way line and either side of each goal.

Category B (Silver)
Around the ‘25’ line, as well as half way between the goals and corner flags.

Category C (Green)
Around the corner flags.

Category D (Blue) – small boards only
On the spectator fencing, facing away from the pitch.
