Sponsorship for other teams and events

In addition to the 1st XI’s, Chelmsford Hockey Club runs 12 other senior sides, most of which compete in either regional or local leagues, as well as in national and regional cup competitions. As an example, the senior Mens Veterans side competes in a regional league and has run out winners of that competition in recent years.

In addition, various tournaments are organised by the Club that involve teams from other clubs, either in England or from overseas. The foremost example of that is the CHC Summer League which has been run at Chelmer Park for over 30 years, and involves two divisions of teams that come from all over Essex to compete during the summer evenings.

Likewise, Chelmsford team tours take place to other parts of the UK and to Europe and these provide a perfect opportunity for specific sponsorship, covering special team shirts and other expenses.

With the development and completion of the new facilities at Chelmer Park, there will be frequent opportunities to hold prestigious events, such as EHL play-offs, or international fixtures, as hosted recently, all of which can give wide prominence to event sponsors.
