Junior Committee - Operating Procedures
Objective
To raise and implement the club’s youth development policies and to oversee their proper maintenance and control throughout the club’s youth section.
Method
In order to achieve the stated objectives of this procedure the Chelmsford Hockey Club youth committee is to:
- Establish and maintain a youth section main committee, to meet as required, to implement and run the club’s youth policies.
- The youth committee will comprise the following:
- Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Sub committee chairs
- Parent representatives
- Sub committees will be established for:
- Training and coaching
- Development
- Players
- Coaches
- Team Managers
- Fixtures
- Volunteer Involvement Programme
- Accreditation (eg. Clubs First)
- Social
- Public relations and Newsletter
- Sponsorship
- Each sub committee will comprise:
- Chair
- Members (as required)
And will be responsible to the youth committee for the provision of adequate programmes and their control to implement the club’s policies.
- Sub-committees will meet as required.
- Sub committee chairs will attend, and report to, the youth committee.
- All committees will keep accurate minutes of their meetings and pass copies of the minutes to the youth committee secretary.
- The youth committee chair will be a member of, and report to, the Chelmsford Hockey Club’s management committee on all youth matters.
