You are in: Home >> Club Info >> Facilities >> Events >> PLUM 2007 PLUM 2007Chelmsford Hockey Club is delighted to once again be of the host clubs for the annual Premier League Umpires Meeting (PLUM) tournament, this time for the 4th year in succession. The tournament has been running for a number of years and is organised by the Eastern Region Hockey Umpires Association (ERHUA). On the water based pitch there is an 8 team mens national league tournament including six Premier league teams (Beeston, Bowdon, East Grinstead, Havant, Hampstead & Westminster and Reading), and 2 Division One teams (Chelmsford and Team Bath Buccs). This acts as final preparation for these teams prior to the leagues restarting two weeks later. Over on the sand based pitch there will be a number of regional mens and ladies fixtures featuring sides that ply their trade in the East Premier A and B divisions. This event promises to provide a feast of quality hockey over the two days with matches starting at 9:30am on both Saturday and Sunday and continuing til 7pm on Saturday and 5pm on Sunday.
