In brief, the development plan included the refurbishment of the existing sand-based artificial pitch, the laying of a new water-based artificial pitch and a clubhouse extension comprising a new dedicated changing block, office, meeting room and treatment room. The total cost for these facilities was in the region of £1.6 million. Although these facilities were completed and in use by late 2003, there is still a need to raise funds for the project. One of the most successful fundraising schemes was the WaterPitch 2002 Members Scheme and it is still not too late to contribute. The WaterPitch 2002 Members Scheme is a covenant scheme that allows most people to select an affordable level of contributions, with easy to set up monthly payments by standing order. We ask you to enter into a formal legal covenant to pay the monthly sum for three years - so your commitment is only for a relatively short period. We have designed the scheme with three levels of monthly contribution: Gold - £50 a monthSilver - £25 a month Bronze - £10 a month Once you have decided how much you would like to give to the club, you can download a Covenant Form and a Standing Order Form. You can then send the completed Covenant and Standing Order Forms to: Chris Randall,32, Jarvis Field, Little Baddow, Chelmsford CM3 4TP. |
