PLUM 2008

Chelmsford Hockey Club is delighted to once again be of the host clubs for the annual Premier League Umpires Meeting (PLUM) tournament, this time for the 5th year in succession. The tournament has been running for a number of years and is organised by the Eastern Region Hockey Umpires Association (ERHUA).

On the water based pitch Chelmsford Men's 1st XI join an 8 team national league tournament (Bath, Beeston, Bourneville, Bowdon, Canterbury, Hampstead & Westminster and Old Georgians). This acts as final preparation for these teams prior to the leagues restarting two weeks later.

Over on the sand based pitch there will be a number of regional mens and ladies fixtures featuring sides that ply their trade in the East Premier A and B divisions and London league.

This event promises to provide a feast of quality hockey over the two days with matches starting at 9:30am on Saturday and 10am on Sunday and continuing til 7pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday. All spectators are welcome and entrance is free of charge.
